Academic offering

We believe in and uphold the principle of experiential learning. We do not believe in, or administer traditional lecture-type learning only in which the learner is a passive listener. Our programmes are engaging, interactive and experiential, creating skills and instilling knowledge that is based on real understanding rather than theory alone.

• We are provisionally accredited with Umalusi, the Council for Quality Assurance in General and Further Education and Training (FET 00453 PA).
• We are registered with the Department of Education.
• Our facilitators and assessors are professionally qualified and SETA registered and have the necessary industry experience to ensure quality education.

Part-time courses

Part time courses are scheduled throughout the year and classes are conducted in the evenings and on Saturdays.

Starting in February each year, Damelin West Rand’s full time courses are either one or two years long and classes are conducted on weekdays.

Corporate training

We offer companies one, two or three day programmes targeting essential skills in IT, HR, sales, marketing, finance, supervision and management.  These can be customised to run at times and at a venue convenient to the client.
