Damelin West Rand was proud to present the 2011 media design learners’ creative work at the annual media design exhibition. The exhibition afforded our learners some well deserved recognition and their first taste of public opinion.

We all know that beer is a popular drink but did you know that breweries are becoming increasingly popular tourist attractions? Recently Damelin West Rand Conference & Events and Game Ranging learners had the opportunity to visit the SAB World of Beer in Newtown, Johannesburg, and find out more about this interesting tourism trend.

Congratulations to Quenton Snooke, our top PC Support student of 2011! We reward academic excellence and therefore paid for Quenton to write the CompTIA international Network+ exam, which he passed with flying colours.

We believe in counting our blessings and in turn, blessing others. Every year we choose a social responsibility project to support. This year we have been organising monthly parties at From the Heart nursery school in Princess informal settlement, Roodepoort.

Damelin West Rand marketing consultant Candice Taylor met Dozi, the award-winning South African singer, and award a R3 000 Damelin West Rand bursary to one lucky winner in October 2011
