“I was working as a debtor’s clerk when I realised that I had a knack for figures,” says Anneli Venter. Today she is the Financial Manager of The GSI Group Africa (Pty) Ltd. We chatted to Anneli about her career climb and her experience as part-time student at Damelin West Rand.

Bernadette Pistorius, marketing manager of Mafikeng Mall and Damelin West Rand graduate, chatted to us about her career and what she learnt while studying Conference, Exhibition & Event management at Damelin West Rand.

“In many ways studying at Damelin West Rand taught me how to be consistent, positive and passionate about the work I do,” said Toka Matla, who studied End-User Technology and completed a two-year PC Engineering course with Damelin West Rand.

Damelin West Rand was proud to present the 2011 media design learners’ creative work at the annual media design exhibition. The exhibition afforded our learners some well deserved recognition and their first taste of public opinion.

Congratulations to Quenton Snooke, our top PC Support student of 2011! We reward academic excellence and therefore paid for Quenton to write the CompTIA international Network+ exam, which he passed with flying colours.
